Application protocols

By crop, by drip line, by phenology.

Vitis vinifera — drip-line band

Wine grapes evolved on calcareous, iron-bearing slopes. Phenolic chemistry — tannin, anthocyanin, aromatic precursors — is mineral-mediated all the way down. Band SupremeAG at the drip line (not the trunk) across three windows: post-budbreak, post-bloom, pre-veraison.

  • Tannin structure — Fe/Mn/Cu/Zn-dependent polyphenol pathways
  • Anthocyanin development — iron-dependent color extraction
  • Brix — mineral-mediated sugar; better picking window
  • Iron chlorosis — chelated Fe survives high-pH soils
